COVID-19 Information

COVID-19, Safety Precautions, Office Closures & Access to Telehealth

Your health--and that of our clinicians, interns, practice managers and the community at large--is a priority to us.  Due to the COVID-19 outbreak, and our shared responsibility to do our part to help contain this pandemic, we have been advised to close all of our offices in Illinois, Indiana and New Mexico for a minimum of two weeks, effective Monday, March 16, 2020.   We anticipate being able to resume on-site services as soon as we are advised that it is safe to do so.  All of our cleaning staff have been extensively trained on strict sanitation protocols and we ask that employees and clients help us maintain our health standards by practicing good personal hygiene in order to protect from transmission. Please stay at home if you are unwell.

In support of containment, all major insurance companies have approved and authorized our practice to initiate telehealth psychotherapy services as a means of ensuring continuity of patient care.  All of our patients were notified by email regarding the cancellation of their office appointment (and were asked to disregard any appointment reminders received prior to this notice).  In addition, if you wish to do so and have access to an internet connection, we informed you that we are able to establish HIPAA compliant telehealth psychotherapy services for you so that you may have your appointment with your therapist at the day and time originally scheduled for your office visit.  If you elect this option, a consent to use telehealth and a link to the client portal will be emailed to you.  Once you are registered on the client portal, you will be able to access your appointments on a computer, or, by downloading an application, a smart phone or tablet.
